they aren't flaps, they're my face!

-next monday is the deadline for articles for the next edition of lifelines but i'm feeling very uninspired. to be honest, i've not felt very inspired with the blog for a long time. the only thing i can think about doing is 'song of songs - the high school years', after i watched some smallville the other day. it'd be a bit like the oc, with the lover & beloved at high school (obviously), & the devil would be like an evil rival love interest, a bit like oliver from the first series of the oc, & he'd start out all charming & nice but turn out to be a bit of a psycho nutter. don't really know what to do with it though. it's not a very good idea, more of a concept really.

-scratching. i like it when you have an itch & you give it a really good scratch. i thought this the other day as i gave my tired eye a good rub. sometimes i'll hold off scratching it just to make it all the more satisfying when i do.

-i have continued my new-found consumer watchdoginess from few posts down. i ordered this tshirt here yonks ago. they said it'd take up to 4 weeks but it's already been about 7 so i emailed to find out what's going on (stuck in customs apparently) & they're giving me a 30% discount. i then also emailed amazon after being told the new jazzanova remixes album i ordered at the beginning of the year wasn't going to to be sent for another month at least, so i told them that was rubbish so they said, here, have £5, so i thought, lovely. they probably didn't do anything in response to my thinking lovely.

-lent has started. whenever people ask what i'm giving up, i say caring. an old joke, i've been saying this for years now but someone still laughs at it every year so i'll keep saying it till people stop laughing &tell me to shut up.

  1. The bit about you holding off itching your eye so it's more satisfying made me laugh outloud cos that's just weird.

I tried to post yesterday but the word verification picture was one of those pictures with just a little cross in the corner to show there should be a picture. This is where the technology fails.
